GRAND SLAMMMMMMMM!!!!
Crabbe Mountain and Fox Subaru presents the 2011 Grand Slam Slopestyle!
As we have done every year, this event is open to 16 skiers and 16 snowboarders. 8 skiers and 8 snowboarders will be sent official invitations which leaves 8 wildcard spots in each category!
Those interested in securing a spot have to send an application including all personal information, number of years riding, and footage or photographs (preferably footage)... to:
crabbemountainterrainpark@ gmail.com
We will go over the applications and you will be notified if you have been selected to compete in one of the biggest slopestyle competitions in the East Coast.
What's up for grabs?! Well it wouldn't be the Grand Slam without a top prize of $1000 cash going to the best athletes in their division! On top of that prizes provided by our sponsors will be given to the athletes that stood out during the competition. Three judges will determine your fate so go big!
The day will run as follows:
10:00AM to 12:00PM- Registration and practice for all athletes involved.
12:00PM to 1:00PM: Lunch break for athletes/course maintenance.
1:00PM-N/A: Slopestyle competition.
A reminder that this will be a one day only course so if you want to ride than you better register! You will all be notified as soon as rider selection has been made. This is not first come first serve. We want a show so the best riders will be selected for the wildcard spots. Do NOT forget to add your contact info on your application.. that way we can get a hold of you by telephone.

BURIED!!!!
Here we go again!! This past saturday was one of the nicest park days so far this season! soft conditions sunny and no wind! Then we got buried with another foot of snow saturday overnight and our park crew spend the entire day Sunday digging out and reshaping everything! this is a total of 3' of snow in the past 2 weeks! conditions are INSANE! Both parks are once again 100% open!
For those of you who are not quite into jibbing rails or sending it off big jumps but still like to catch a bit of air, we are Currently in the works of building our first ever permanent Boardercross / Skiercross course! which will be located on the extention ( old flume terrain park ) off of the humes flume. Snowmakers recently finished snowmaking in there and with our new natural snow we should be all set to build some nice berms and rollers! I ( Richard ) was out in the groomer today flattening out the snowmaking piles and I must say there is LOTS of snow in that area! Construction should start at some point this week if all goes well!
enough said , here are a few pictures from this past Saturday taken by Brady Cole from PB&J productions
