Welcome!

Hello everyone and welcome to the new (and yet to be improved) Crabbe Mountain Terrain Park Blog! My name is Harlan Thompson and I will be your Terrain Park Events Specialist for this season. On this blog you'll find park updates, upcoming events, pictures, edits, and anything else I find relevant to this webpage. Since we're just starting this up I'm going to write a big post so bare with me!

First I'd like to thank everyone who attended Roast Beef & Rails this week! It was great to see everyone get together and have fun throwing down on our set up. It makes us proud to be park crew at Crabbe Mountain. I know it's been less than a week since we hosted the pre-season event but I'm surprised I haven't seen more pictures and edits! If you have any pictures or edits please send them to me (crabbemountainterrainpark@gmail.com) and I'll post my favorites right here for everyone to see.  To start things off here is an edit filmed by Andre Aikens featuring the SESC Crew. Keep your eyes peeled in the park and you'll be sure to see these boys riding together every weekend.

I just got back from a staff meeting at Crabbe and a park meeting in Richard "Park Manager" Cote's basement and I have to say this season is going to be awesome! Crabbe is planning on having the loop open this weekend in which case there will be a jib park on Dave's Dream. If we can't open the loop (which I doubt will happen) the Bunny Hill will be open and there will be a small jib park.

Crabbe Mountain has collaborated with Coastal Jibs again this year to bring you a few more rails. Added to the line up this year we have a beginner rainbow box and the rainbow rail has been hacked and rebuilt into a skinny rainbow box.  We must also bow our heads in remembrance of our old A-Frame box (R.I.P.) which has been chopped and rebuilt into two beginner flat boxes. We also have a jibbable (a word computers and dictionaries still fail to recognize) bench which will be put at the top of the park for strapping in or just taking a break. Most notably Coastal Jibs has lent a new kicker rail to us this year which is as fun as it is challenging. Big thanks to Richard Cote for the hook up!
Once we have things set up I'll make sure to post pictures of all the features, new and old.

Well I think that's about it! I'll have more media and events posted soon and I hope to see you all this weekend! Feel free to come up to either myself, Richard Cote, Jesse Guthrie or Jeremie Doran and give us feed back on the park. We love to hear what you guys have to say!

Stay tuned!
